   Export contacts

   From the HubSpot contacts index, export a CSV of the properties you still use. Include email. That column is the match key.

   Step 2

   Export companies only if you need them

   Companies can be a second CSV. Mautic can store companies, but this move does not rebuild a deal pipeline. If the pipeline is the product you use, this is the wrong destination.

   Step 3

   List the live campaigns

   Workflows and emails do not export as something Mautic can run. Write down the emails that still send, and the form that fills the list.

Import

   Step 1

   Install Mautic and connect mail

   Mautic does not send mail by itself. Connect SMTP before you import, or the first campaign will fail for a reason that looks like a bad import.

   Step 2

   Import the contact CSV

   Map email and the few custom fields you created in Mautic first. Import a hundred rows, check them, then import the rest.

   Step 3

   Rebuild one form and one email

   Recreate the form that creates a contact, and one campaign a person would notice. Do not try to clone the HubSpot automation on day one.

What breaks

• The deal pipeline

  Mautic is not a CRM pipeline. Opportunities, forecasts, and sales sequences are out of scope. Pair it with a CRM from the HubSpot page if you need both.

• Landing pages and ads

  HubSpot pages and ad audiences do not import. The form can live on a page you already have.

• Deliverability

  You bring your own sending domain. Set that up before you mail the list you just imported.
