Move from Superhuman to Spark
Add the same Gmail or Outlook account in Spark. The mail stays where it is. Snippets and team notes do not move.
How long: About an hour for one person.
Take it out
Step 1
Leave Superhuman in place
Do not cancel yet. You will want the old app open while you check the new one.
Step 2
Write down the bits that do not export
Snippets, split inbox sections, and team comments stay in Superhuman. Copy the snippets you still use into a note.
Put it in
Step 1
Install Spark
Download Spark for Mac or Windows from the Spark site, or install it on an iPhone or Android phone. The download page lists those apps.
Step 2
Add the same account
Sign in with the same Gmail or Outlook account you used in Superhuman. Spark can also add other IMAP accounts. The mail stays at the provider.
Step 3
Turn on the free tools you need
Snooze, reminders, send later, and the calendar are on the free plan. Read statuses and team comments are on a paid Spark plan.
What you lose
Team notes
Comments your team wrote on a thread do not appear in Spark. Read them in Superhuman and copy any you still need.
Read statuses
Spark's free plan does not show read statuses. That tool is on the Pro plan.
A mailbox Superhuman cannot open
Superhuman only signs in to Gmail and Microsoft-hosted Outlook. Spark can add a plain IMAP account too. That extra account was never in Superhuman.
Use both apps for a few days. New mail should show in Spark because it is the same mailbox. When that looks right, you can stop opening Superhuman.
