Screenity
Screenity is a free Chrome add-on. It records the screen, can record the camera, and lets you draw and trim. The license is GPL-3.0. Videos stay on your computer unless you send them to Google Drive.
Open source means you can use, change, and share the code.
The readme says GPL-3.0 starts at version 3.0.0. You can load the add-on from the repo. That copy stays on your computer.
Free plan
The Chrome add-on is free. The readme says there is no sign-in and no cap on length.
They host it
No hosted price on file.
Run it yourself
You put the app on a computer you control. A browser add-on. You can load it from the repo. It is not a server.
How close is it?
100 means it does everything the paid app does.

Keep Screenity correct?
If a license, a price, or a feature mark is wrong, send a correction. A labeled featured listing is $149/mo. Paying never changes rankings or scores, and it cannot take the #1 spot.
